Day 1 of leg 1 (Stockholm - Bratislava)

Woke up in time (I normally do)
Got things organised (I normally do)
Tage was on time (He normally is not)
Drive to airport without misshaps (Not entirely normal when Tage is driving)
Check in with no problems what so ever (I fly Ryanair, need i say more)
No spare ball left at airport (I didnt have one with me)

bla bla bla lift, fly, land, got luggage, taxi to Aupark Bowling


Spoke to some of the guys who were playing, everyone said "NO OIL, DRY LIKE SAHARA"  So I thought, perhaps I should play an extra squad. So I did...

Bare in mind that I knew it was dry like hell, I still missed the head pin on the right hand side on my three first shots, honestly, it was probably one of the dryest lanes I have ever played.

So I tried the old "rocket to the pocket" it hooked far to much anyway, I tried to lower my rev rate, it still hooked way to much, after 4 pathetic games I went coast to coast with a Rising-Se, did actually get a better ball reaction, plus som cheering from the crowd as they probably never have seen a lefty do that. Result ? naah, nothing worth speaking about actually

Vera Masatova was kind enough to ask if I wanted anything from a pro-shop as she is going to Thomas Trybl tomorrow. I thanked her for her initiative and got my self a plastic ball, hopefully he will be able to copy the grip succesfully

After all this action I went to the hotel.... Hotel Kiev was a luxory hotel for comunist leaders and their hang-arounds in the 60s and 70s, today its... well, look for your self people

I had a meal in the bar, not very good, but what do you get for 2.6€ ? and I belive that a bottle of Staropramen is 1€ so Im not complaining
